These
Marines were "good to go" after 4 weeks of Residential
Wiring Instruction received in May of 2006.
Kurt J. Eisenach began the heavy hands on Residential Wiring course
with intensive algebra and trigonometry reviews that focused on electrical
problem solving.
All wiring was done to code as specified by the National Electric
Code (NFPA 70). OSHA regulations 1910.147 (Lockout/Tagout) and 1910 sub-part S
(General Safety Standards) were also taught.
As part of their hands on training the students received an introduction to
conduit bending.
Several students commented how much they appreciated learning how to
wire 3 and 4-way switch circuits.
